Trek & Camp in Triund Hill
Triund is the basecamp for treks to Inderahar pass and trek to chamba valey. The Triund trek is an easy trek which starts from Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh. Triund is situated at an altitude of 2875 meters above sea level, surrounded by a breathtaking view of Kangra valley and the Dhauladhar range. Gallu Devi temple is the starting point of the triund trek and is at a distance of 2 KM from the Main Square and as you are on a trekking trip in should be done walking.
Day 01 : Triund Trek from Mcleodganj
After breakfast start our trek towards Triund hill from Mcleodganj. It si an gradient and easy except some stretches and the total trekking distance is 9 km. The trail takes you through the dense forests of pine with some scenic views of valleys. It takes around 5-6 hours to reach the Triund top from Mcleodganj.
After reaching Triund, enjoy the evening with views of Kangra Valley and have dinner at the campsite. Night stay in camps
Day 02 : Hike from Triund – Bhagsu / Mcleodganj
After breakfast, spend some time on Triund Hill and make sure to click enough pictures. Later we start our downhill trek to Mcleodganj. In Mcleodganj enjoy hot momos / thupkas or stroll the market. At arounf 6 p.M board the bus to Delhi / Chandigarh.
